Hi, I’m Nita!

 

A proud Indigenous woman, Pilates instructor, Spray Tan Artist, and Media Creative.

My journey into the world of wellness and beauty began over eight years ago. I began working as a makeup artist and eventually found my way into professional spray tan artistry.  I then dedicated myself to mastering the art of the flawless glow—learning  not just how to work with every type of skin tone, but to work with each client individually to create a feeling of safety and confidence. We only use  high-end, luxury organic formulas that are made in USA to the highest industry standards.

Here at Tone Studio, we believe that beauty isn't just skin deep—it's a reflection of how we move, breathe, and walk through life. As someone with a lifelong passion for finding traditional healing and happiness through movement, I fell deeply in love with the alignment, strength, and mindful presence of traditional mat Pilates after giving birth to second son in late 2022. Through my own personal practice I found so much peace, happiness, and confidence that I knew I wanted to share with my community this gift. I started my journey to becoming a Pilates instructor in June of 2025 in the midst of separation and divorce. I've spent the last year dedicated to fulfilling the Balanced Body Mat Pilates Certification requirements and will continue to grow my Pilates knowledge and personal practice. In my opinion, the best teachers never stop being students.

At the same time, I've always taken up space in the digital landscape of modern social media and small business marketing. Creator gave me the gift of a keen eye for social media, aesthetics, and content creation. Over the last 6 years I've developed logos and brand identities, web systems, and creative marketing strategies for many mainstream brands as well as some of Big Island's most recognizable small businesses. With both our media suite and our in-house team of creative consultants and graphic designers, we aim to bring life to your brand or vision.

I believe that the modern career woman and the local creative shouldn't have to bounce between multiple spaces to find wellness, beauty, and creative inspiration , so I envisioned a centralized sanctuary where these worlds could intertwine under one beautiful, light-filled roof.
